I am BEE-OOO-TEE-FULL again!

A trip to the Doggie Day Spa does a girl wonders, don't you think? A bath which comes with a massage (sort of, as they scrub you clean), and perfume and a pink bow....and I feel like a brand new pup!

Mom picked me up just in time for lunch and a nap. I really love going to "Country Kennels".

You really do look beautiful! I think it's about time Mum took me to see Sharon again (that's my groomer) because I'm in DESPERATE need of a trim. When I was at the 'dogtor' last Saturday, they shaved some fur off my right front paw (or is it my left - I still get my right and my left mixed up you know) and I look all lop-sided. It's not a great look, I definitely won't be starting any new fashion trends!

By the way, you're right I don't think they can discriminate against me because of age but Mum says things are never quite as simple as they should be. I mean after all, as you pointed out, us dogs are being discriminated against all the time!

Take tonight for example. Mum and Dad are going out for Sushi (that's raw fish by the way so I'm not so sure about that idea) and then they're going to go and see a movie. All I get to do is stay home and guard the house! I think I need a raise!

Dear Sarabi - You won't believe this but MY groomer at Country Kennels is named Sharon, too. OHMYGAWSH! We have SOOO much in common.

About tonight. If it were me, I'd expect that my mom would leave the TV on with Animal Planet so I wouldn't get lonesome. What about that boy teenager? You don't have to watch him, too, do you? If I had to watch human kids, I'd absolutely expect a raise, or I'd write to the ASPCA and complain. Teenagers can be such a bother.

Wow I can't believe your groomer's name is Sharon too - that is so weird isn't it?

About that boy teenager (aka Daniel) no I definitely don't have to watch him also and if I did I think I might just have to run away (something he threatens to do quite often by the way). And if I ever had to run away I think I might just run all the way to your house in California. Of course Mum would know just where to find me because she knows that I think that your house is the closet place to heaven other than mine.

Speaking of Daniel we actually don't see too much of him lately because he has a girlfriend Sam who is really nice and they spend a lot of time together. When they aren't together it's usually because they are working - Sam works at a pizza place and Daniel works at Coldstone ice creamery.

By the way, Mum and Dad never actually went to a movie last night. I think I gave Mum such a sad puppy face when they left to go out for dinner, that they decided to just rent a couple of DVDs instead so that they could come home and watch them with me. I really am lucky aren't I?

Hope you are having a great day.
