I got my pool! Yayyy!

What's this? A wading pool?
Hurry up and fill. I'm waiting....
Ahhhh...That feels good.
Hmmmmmm? What's that?
Stuff floats on the top of the water, like buggies and feathers and...just stuff. I love to splash it down and watch it pop up again. This is fun.
...splash...splash.. splash.. wheeeee!
My paw pads look like raisins. Time to get out?
This is me after rolling in the freshly mown lawn, getting my fur all full of gunk, and then racing into the house so I can dry off on the couch, I'm contemplating this Egg & Cheese Charlee Bear. Nope...too many calories. I think I'll pass.

That was oodles of fun. I think I like my pool. Wanna come play??

Love, Mary-Margaret

I would come and supervise Mary-Margaret as I don't like the water too much, but Charlie would love to come and play ! As he is so big, he could make waves and you could surf them :-) Your pool looks like SO much fun !

Hi Mary-Margaret,
I love how your pool looks. I wish I had one. I am going to hint to my Momma that I want one.
I could splash around in it and she could put her feet in there to get cool.
I am glad you had so much fun in it.

WOW I think your pool looks great! I wish we were neighbors, I think I would just come by to splash around with you. It is SO hot here today in Chicago I can't think of anything better.

I have had a very lazy day, which suits me fine considering the heat. Mum and Dad were out most of the morning so I napped most of the time (in between guarding the house of course!) I am actually quite tired because I haven't had much sleep the last couple of nights. I don't know about you Mary-Margaret, I don't really like this 4th of July holiday. Too many fireworks for me! I'm a little afraid of fireworks and thunderstorms - well actually if I'm honest I'm TERRIFIED of both.

When Mum and Dad finally came home, Mum took me for my walk and then she and I just hung out together watching the tennis from Wimbledon, which is one of Mum's favorites. Personally, I don't get it - what's with this hitting a ball back and forth across a net? Haven't these people ever heard about actually catching the ball? I get quite dizzy watching it.

Anyway I hope you continue to enjoy your pool - think about me will you?

Love,
Your pen-pal
Sarabi

P.S. I don't know if you've ever watched tennis, but I think I may have found the perfect job for us Mary-Margaret. Every time the players miss a ball (which seems to be all the time if you ask me) they have kids who run on to the court to pick up the balls. I think you and I would be SO good at that don't you? I wonder where we should send our resumes? And what would our job title be? Maybe 'Furry Fetchers' - would do you do think? You and I could even go into business together!!!

Dear Sarabi - I like your idea about Wimbledon. Mom says "ok" as long as they pay for 1st Class seats on Virgin Atlantic for the four of us (you, me, her and your mom). That would be a hoot, wouldn't it? You and me chasing balls and our moms getting a trip, too? Woo hoo!! Sounds like a dream come true.

Love, Mary-Margaret

PS - tell your mom the pools are roughly "seven bucks at K-Mart in the Garden Section", my mom says.
