We just hung out today. Did some laundry and changed the bed linens. Watched a couple of movies, and tried to watch another one called "The Road", but it was really hard to watch. Being so dark and the voices sort of mumbled together, we couldn't really pay much attention to it. We'll try again later. Maybe if we watch it 15 minutes at a time it won't seem like such a chore.
I sat at my window by the front door and said "Hello" to people, dogs and cats that went by. Mom just kept saying "Shush, Mary-Margaret!" and put her finger to her lips. "Shhhhhh! Bark quietly!", she'd say. Now really! Have you EVER heard a dog bark quietly, I ask? Well, I can. It sort of sounds like "whuuff", and my cheeks puff out a bit and my mouth is sort of puckered like I'm whistling, which I might learn to do now that I can pucker.
That's pretty much how our day went. Nothing spectacular. I need to go remind my mom to give me my dinner, and my Metacam and Cosequin. I am very much better today. I'm not supposed to jump up on the bed but I do anyway, most of the time. If I have any trouble I just hold up my arms and say "Help, please?", and I get picked up. Although that's not the perfect solution because sometimes that hurts my armpits, it's better than sitting on the floor.
Love,
Mary-Margaret

We just ran across your blog from Dogs With Blogs "Paw It Forward". You are the cutest thing we have ever seen! Do you have a boyfriend and are you at all interested in corgis boys? I am not allowed to date yet but I should be able to in another year or so.

Hello Gorgeous!
I laughed about your window activity because this is what I do these days all they looong :-)
My Mommy thought that she made a great discovery on how to make me stop saying “Hello” or mostly “Get out of my territory” from my front window, by putting on classical music.
Ha haaa… that did the trick for one day; I really enjoyed it but by the next day, I was calling Mr. Chopin, Mr. Beethoven, Mr. Vivaldi and the rest of them by their first name ;-)
My Saturday was pretty exciting since I went to visit with my “Uncle” DannyG.
He just had his 1st Birthday on May 25th and my Mommy and Daddy got him the beautiful red tuxedo from Auntie Corrine. Now we match :-)
Well, his Mommy (who is my Nana) is concerned because he likes to talk a lot just like I do and got him one of those devices that you see advertised on TV where you point at the talkative K9 and emits a high-pitched sound (ultrasonic) that is suppose to correct the “loud conversation”.
We do not know what happened but the company sent my Nana more than she ordered and she ended up with six devices instead of three. Story short, she asked my parents to take two and try it on me. Can you believe that??? Amateurs…
My Mommy tried it today and my Bro. got very concerned about the sound and I stared barking even louder; so I guess I broke the code on that one too…
BTW Your Mommy is funny asking you to talk softly. LOL
When I talk, my sister who is 14 years old and half deaf, wakes up from her beauty sleep.
Us Yorkies have to be loud in compensation for our size ;-)
Well, got to run! Lots of projects… (my new nickname is “project boy”)
Sending you my love,
Neeko ♥
P.S. You have my permission to post any of my jokes if you wish.
