Lou, Scooby-Doo and baby Kalamazoo

Here's Scooby-Doo and his wife, Lou Bird-Doo. He's her second husband. Her first husband, Blue Bird, passed on a few years ago. She didn't mourn for very long.
Here's Lou and Blue's son, Kal. Scooby is now Kal's step-father. You can tell from Scooby's picture that he's a "plucker". Plucking is a nasty habit some birds get into, sort of like when humans bite their nails. That's why he's missing a few feathers. Mom tried to get him to stop but he's impossible.

There. Now you've met my whole family.

Love, Mary-Margaret

I love reading your blog, my husband thinks I'm nuts!! Maybe you put hot sauce on Scooby's feathers to make him stop plucking...just kidding!! They sure are beautiful birds. We had a very young Solomon Island Eclectus for a period of time, but as she matured I was afraid that the lack of attention she got would turn her into a plucker or that she would end up not talking or being a screamer. She was adopted into a new home, where she is very happy!
