Mary-Margaret O'Brien and her long-term fiance, Hashimoto of Lamanteer, have announced that they have decided to call off their engagement. They will remain the best of friends, according to Miss O'Brien's publicist, but they've decided to focus on their careers for the time being. Mary-Margaret is busy building her parish at The YorkieBrigade Chapel, where she acts as Chaplain, and Hashimoto is supervising the landscaping and installation of fencing at a new project in Hemet, California when he's not long-distance trucking across the United States.
They thank their fans for their continued support and ask that their privacy be respected.
