Bike or '57 Chevy? New beginnings!

Some people know how to compromise. We were driving back to the office yesterday when I saw this out my window. Woo hoo (I said). Here's what I want when I get my helmet. I'm still saving, you know.

This is SOOOOO kewl. We see all kinds of stuff driving around but this is the absolutely most cool thing of all. Ohmystars...is that a "rumble seat" I see?

Mom rolled down her window and asked if she could take a picture and they said it was ok. I think the rear end is just the right size for me and my fiance, Hashi, to go on our honeymoon. Tie a few Little Cesar cans to the back....maybe some crepe paper streamers in my favorite colors of red and purple, hang a little "Just Married" sign on the back and we're off and running. Hmmmmmmm! (Humming) ♪♫♪♫ "We've Only Just Begun" ♪♫♪♫♪♫ by the Carpenters from back in 1970. That was my mom and Papa John's song, too.

Beginnings are so much more fun than endings, dontcha think? All that good stuff to look forward to...plans to make....surprises ahead! I hope me and Hashi will always be at the beginning of something. Only nine more days until I see my sweet Hashimoomoo. I am sooooooooooooo excited.

My heart belongs to Hashi....

Love,

Mary-Margaret O'Brien-Moto

(I like the sound of that....Mrs. Moto...Mrs. Hashi Moto....MMM....MOM...! Oh my heart is fluttering like a hummingbird in my chest!)

(sigh!)

Dear Mary-Margaret,
Hashi is indeed very handsome and adorable at the same time. I saw a Tri-Motorcycle that a woman rode and she had a little kennel attached to her Trike for her Yorkie girl Maura. I guess Maura loves to ride with her mom. My husband and I ride a motorcycle, but my Ozzy doesn't even like to ride in a car or even go for a walk. He actually tries to make himself invisible when his Brittany Spaniel sister and I go for a walk. Considering his little legs are only about 4-5 inches long I guess that gives him a good reason. He's pretty much a homebody, and would rather be at home inside or out in our yard protecting it. He's pretty diligent and serious about his guard dog job. Have fun with Hashi!

My Aunt Rose didn't like walks either. She'd go about 1/2 block and then sit down. "Carry me", she'd say, and Mom would pick her up and they'd continue their walk. Amazing how many people laughed at my mom taking my Aunt Rose "for a walk" by holding her in her arms. Eventually, she got a "Snugli" for Rose, to make it easier on her arms.

Oh, my goodness Mary-Margaret! That's such a cool motorcycle. My dear doggie friends Bailey and Lily had a beautiful wedding 7 years ago. It was even shown on the local news! Sadly, Lily crossed the Rainbow Bridge Sunday and Bailey is very, very sad. I hope you and your Hashi have a wonderful visit!
