If you needed a place to live, you could come live with us. If you needed some food, we'd make sure you had it. If you needed some money, even if we didn't have much, we'd share with you. And if you felt sad and just needed a hug, we'd be the first to give you one.
One of Mom's favorite sayings is "Lead, follow or get out of the way!". We had a situation today and we're taking proactive steps to resolve it. We don't have time to be distracted by miscellaneous words without understanding or empathy. In case you were wondering, we took the job tonight and resolved someone else's problem. By doing that, we helped resolve our own.
